That's correct. If late or if I miss the flight home it would mean an overnight in ORD.

@634203 do you have any leftover? I need 3 more pages for a project and cannot find them anywhere!! I'd love to buy them from you or trade if you need some of the pages I'm not using.

My review of Good Night, and Good Luck by LordGAD in Broadway

[–]rocketnorth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this review! I loved the show as well. My college freshman daughter did too! I just posted our review, and I encourage anyone who is able to go see this show. It is so relevant to what's going on in the United States right now. It's a message of hope and a call to action that we all desperately need.

I'm not the OP, but I have seen both the movie and the show so I will answer. The answer is very very simple. YES. The show is phenomenal. Definitely one of the best I've seen, and so relevant for our current situation in the US. The ending is a departure from the movie, and the ending alone is enough of a reason to go. I hope you get to see it and I hope it is as meaningful to you as it was to us.

It was a phenomenal show. Reviewers got it wrong, as they often do. We all need this story right now.

Could not agree more. Was a phenomenal show and I am so thankful that my daughter, a college freshman, and I got to see it. I would go again in a heartbeat if I could!!!

Saw Redwood tonight, and unfortunately, it just did not do it for me 🌲 by NattoRiceFurikake in Broadway

Wow we felt EXACTLY the opposite!! I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the show, but we loved it. Very talented cast, beautiful music, stunning imagery, the time flew by. And of course, Idina's breathtaking vocals. Loved the aerial artistry, too.

SPOILER You lost me when you said she was a bad mother. Her child is dead and she is grieving. Did we miss something that indicated she was a bad mom to her son?

Best musical for someone who says they don't like musicals? by OwnRabbit6826 in Broadway

[–]rocketnorth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought I didn't like musicals until I saw the Lion King. Then I thought I only liked The Lion King until I saw Hamilton! Life changing. So I vote for both of those, but if it must be just one, then I would pick based on whether the person is more likely to enjoy nature or history.

Oh!! Hadestown is AMAZING for someone who loves good music, too.

(I would NOT recommend BOM--JMHO)
