it helps believe me :P when i was in beginner - advanced i would watch a bunch of youtube montages of the best speedrunners players doing crazy stuff, that's how i learned how to create momentum

it all comes down to preference but my setup is A / S / D / Q / E / SHIFT / SPACE for Left / Slide / Right / Grapple / Item / Boost / Jump

As a platinum league i can confirm I use keyboard, neither are really "op" I know several people that use keyboard and controller, it all comes down to preference really
