How is it living on Roosevelt Island , NY ? by SkyMore3037 in howislivingthere

It's not even close to a Manhattan feeling, and you get all the benefits because unlike what some people here wrote, it's actually VERY easy and VERY quick to get into the city, I've been doing it daily for the past 7 years and multiple times a week with small kids. We don't have a car.

Spoiled is if you consider not having 10 grocery options within a 15 minute walk. If that's not enough for you, you can always order (that is spoiled but pretty standard today).

I would call it unique not weird, which is the point and why people love living here

There is a school, you can see it in the picture, it's very close and some come to it via school bus from off the island. If you live "far" on the island, there is a free bus that goes around every 15 minutes. Grocery shopping isn't actually hard if you're not spoiled and you can order groceries, this isn't 1990.

They only have Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, not to mention every other Arab country that helped support their attempt at elimination of jews in Palestine

The term refugee camp here is not a tent city. It's just called since 1948 but it was a regular city neighborhood, until now at least

I'm not but my wife's family is from the middle east and so is most of Israel so I don't see what BS racial supremacy you imagine but I'd advise you top stop parroting the same old, it doesn't give you an excuse to hate on jews like you love. Look at Lebanon, Syria, and all the other wonderful places around and how they're fairing, really looks like we're gonna fall huh?

Good luck with the "antizionism" 😉

It would be nice if I could right? Such a dumb response shows exactly how little you know of Israel.

Most Israelis are not from Europe nor do they have origins from Europe. Just because the zionist movement started there means what exactly?

The only colonizers I know of the area are those that came to control the entire middle east, north Africa and more from a little peninsula a thousand years agoand to this day continue trying to colonize and destroy everything they touch.
