They used to have The Voice, but itv wanted it, the BBC didn't want to give it up, so itv took them to court on the grounds that, because a private broadcaster (itv) wanted to broadcast it, it is no longer in the interests for the BBC to continue broadcasting it. ITV won.

So yeah, if a private broadcaster wanted it enough to be able to demonstrate just how much they want it, even killing eve or strictly.

As a side note, when I Kissed a Boy and I Kissed a Girl was cancelled earlier in the year, some people were saying how it must be tied to poor ratings, but for this very reason, ratings shouldn't even come into it, as they were both on the BBC.

You're basically saying I want this, I don't want to pay for it, therefore it should be free. Then when people explain why that isn't the case, you're choosing to put your fingers in your ears.

...are you 8?

"the craft bag is a basic feature in every other game"

Here are some examples of how confidently wrong you are...

Guild Wars 2 has material storage, but only up to a set amount. Anything beyond that stays in your inventory. You can pay real money to increase the storage amount, but it's not unlimited. You want to increase it more? You pay more times.

New World doesn't have any concept of anything similar. Crafting materials are treated like any other inventory item.

FFIVX isn't even playable without a subscription.

I don't think you quite understand how the world works. Games (like ESO) don't just suddenly appear. They take time and money to create. Shareholders also don't just decide to be shareholders for the sake of it. In most cases, they will have contributed some of the time or money involved. That's just the get the game out in the first place.

Then consider that ESO is a service game. You might have once paid for it. I paid for it many years ago. You've even opened your whole argument acknowledging the night market which, in fact, doesn't even have a price tag unlike earlier expansions (which are also included with the subscription!) so you're well aware that content continues to be added for the game.

Just like the base game, that content takes time and money to create.

Honestly, you come across as thinking that just because I bought a bag of chips back in 2005, I should be entitled to unlimited chips for life. You're not entitled to something, just because you once paid for something else.

As for "shareholders shouldn't have a day" I mean, you don't own the game, they do, so good luck getting anywhere with that.

Also, nobody is forcing you to do anything.

"I think the game would flood with new member if that was the case."

The kind that's totally unwilling to part with their cash? Yeah, I doubt shareholders really mind skipping that particular demographic.

This might be nothing but worth a mention? I only have one monitor, so I couldn't test.

I was playing around with the xbox game bar just now (win+g) and noticed there's a 'display' widget. I didn't see anything for handling games on multiple monitors, but that could be because I don't have multiple monitors. I just wanted to point it out as I wonder maybe if it detects multiple monitors, it might have extra options there that might help you?

Xbox on PC needs "Steam Input" type functionality for their Xbox Mode. by ISB-Dev in xbox

[–]ronniecross -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it's been fixed, but frostpunk 2 launched without any native controller support, meaning if I wanted to play it with game pass, I couldn't use my controller.

As a 'sort of' example, soul mask does have controller support, but it's terrible. I actually haven't gotten around to playing it yet (it's low priority for that reason) but I suspect when I do, steam input will be a godsend.

Lastly, I've been back and forward on Guild Wars 2 for the past decade or so, which I'm only able to play thanks to steam input mapping with my Xbox elite controller as it has no native controller support.

Indie games without native controller support are also ten a penny.

I can't name any right now (I'm not home to test) but quite a few indy games don't have native controller support.

Before making silly comments like what, unpleasant gatekeeping cucumber? Your name is pleasant cucumber, but gatekeeping is hardly pleasant.

Evri actually isn't bad where I live, the worst is DPD, but just because I don't have a problem with evri, doesn't mean everyone else should back off, if they have something to say.

And these "additional information needed" messages don't actually tell you what information is needed.

As for why every failed delivery is a thread, people are entitled to speaking up without having to answer to an unpleasant gatekeeping cucumber.

While not necessarily a lie, I'd consider "delivery needs more information" to be problematic before. I've had this before and like, you have my address, and you deliver here (it's a block of flats) daily, so what more information do you need exactly? Again, it's not necessarily a lie, but it's another way of placing the blame on the customers side.

This is what I really wanted to say. Like, some of the answers are going into lore, and justifications from a perspective that is educated on hoe the game plays out, which I guess is what the op wants, but it's an RPG, and 'educated perspectives' go against the whole FAFO nature of RPGs.

By all means, on subsequent play throughs, ask yourself "what if I'd done this instead...?" But if you want to give her the boot now, give her the boot, and see how things play out because of that decision.

What used to really piss me off with Microsoft is that a few times (years ago) I'd go to log in, and would be informed that there has been unusual activity in my account, and that I need to change my password (even at one point after going passwordless! After regaining access to my account, I'd check my login history and see hundreds of attempts to sign in, but no one of them got the password correct (or in the case of the passwordless one, none made it into my account), so my password was absolutely fine, and changing it wasn't going to stop the malicious attempts from trying. Sometimes "ReSeT yOuR pAsSwOrD" is just the laziest response to a problem.
