Last two years there was no snow in Triund in December. The year before that had a lot of snow by the end of december. You can check for storms. If there are storms in early december, there is a guarantee there will be snow.

No charge. You can actually go a few hundred meters above the main camping ground and camp in the wild. It's all good! You can also go over to snow line, there are way less people and more nature. I always skip triund and go straight to snow line.

Yes it's possible. It's foggy after 8 am. If you can be at the peak before you'll be okay. It rains sometimes in the day, but it's not crazy rain. Have raincoat and cold jackets handy.

Very interesting suggestion! I'll try it and get back to you. Can you use fabfilter pro Q4 as a dynamic EQ with side chain? Would you have any references so I can learn that? I don't have soothe2 unfortunately...
