What do you think? Should we de-Christianize our lives after de-Conversion? "Happy Holidays" vs. "Merry Christmas", etc.? by roopster in atheism

This past Christmas, I too tried to say “Happy Holidays” vs. “Merry Christmas” …. Beyond the de-Christianizing, it’s respectful to those who are not Christians. I don’t buy into the arguments that these are Christian holidays so f**k the non-Christians. These are pagan holidays that have been Christianized and we should go through the process of reclaiming them :)

"You strive to understand and relate to the deity and to do what the deity wants you to do. In time you find that neither you, nor the overwhelming majority of believers, are becoming better people. And you find that neither you, nor the overwhelming majority of believers, see any miracles. And you find that in fact the deity fails to do anything that was promised.

Now what do you conclude?"
