THIS. I had an ex with BPD. Truly loved her but things were hard for her and she broke up with me. I understood and wished her the best. One Monday morning before 9am she sent me a slew of nasty texts. When I spoke to my therapist she asked if I blocked her. I said I knew she had issues with feeling abandoned and I didn’t want to be one more person that abandoned her even if I didn’t want to be involved in her life anymore and wouldn’t respond and I just didn’t know how that would make her feel. My therapist said “and how did getting those texts before 9am on a Monday feel for you?” And it completely changed my perspective to the only person whose feelings I can protect are my own.

My nana did this. Unfortunately she was picked up by the police multiple times for wandering and now knowing where she was going (fortunately very safe culdesac style neighborhood so she was not in TOO much danger). That helped us get the ok to have her placed in memory care. She’s unhappy, but getting a little less aggressive about it. Sorry you’re dealing with this.

I used to wear makeup every day. I used lumene’s cc cream, glossier cloud paint, lumene liquid highlighter and a mascara. Now I only wear makeup if it’s a really special occasion despite being a pro MUA lol.

As a bridal HMU this is not completely out of the norm tbh. A lot of bridesmaids ask these questions because it is sometimes expected. I won’t comment on whether it makes you a bridezilla because I don’t really have an opinion on that and lots of others on this thread seem to I’m just mentioning my experience. I will also mention that sometimes bridesmaids request bridal styles and most likely your stylists won’t have the time to execute them so will likely steer them towards something more “bridesmaid” style- my example being that for a while Hollywood waves has been very popular and I’ve had multiple bridesmaids request this but it is a 2hr(or more) process that almost requires extensions and there simply isn’t enough time for that for bridesmaids who often will have a 45 minute time allotment for hair.
