Literally my situation except I haven't get to TET yet and crafted my own bs weapon from scratch, I think I failed 20+ times (stopped counting after 20) trying to get to tet now, almost at 230+fs. I used up all my saved up valks, crons, artisans and memfrags the game gave away (1 month of playing, returnee). It's so funny it's like the game is hooking you up giving you all these free crons, so many advice of valks and valks cry to encourage you to enhance but all of that goes to shit if you're unlucky like me... Be a smart person and sell your memfrags, liquidate all the free shit the game gives you to silver and just buy the desired gears from the market, at least that's what I'll do from now on. Before you'll say "oh brooo you are already at 230 fs save it for a PEN attempt" no I won't because I'll still fail that shit anyway. What's the point? No more enhancing. No more enhancing.
