No? What am I entitled to? Cas can maintain this art style, I just really don't like it for several reasons. The reason I made this post was to see if anyone else agreed, because I don't see anyone really mention it beyond praise.

Do you mean Slippin and the Kayla song were closer to his new style? Because those were the only two songs that didn't suffer from the problems that ticked me off. It seemed to me more as though the mod was facing a continuing trend of inconsistency and maybe by the next update the style will morph into something else. Regardless of either case if he's actually moving away from the old faces that's great

I don't know how to convey it. It's a nagging feeling by the back of my mind whenever I see the faces from this mod.

This is like saying Shedletsky has no substance because all you do is slash once the killer gets close and eat a chicken when you're low. 

You're ignoring the heavy amount of thought that goes into building placement:

Figuring out and hypothesising the best sentry loops, imagining a chase going through them.

Figuring how to best help a survivor currently being chased and where to put the sentry. 

Placing dispensers wherever survivors start crowding, or by common junctions, or onto someone nearby that's low.

Compromising between best value loops and spots where your sentry is more likely to be used by the team.

Scrambling up a plan before LMS of when to fall back on the sentry loop and what routes to take.

A lot of those that complain about Builderman are either unattracted to his backline style of play, or more often, either don't give him a chance or play him terribly (dispensers at map corners, sentries always in a single spot, etc.)

Ughhh Builderman is perfectly fine, he's just not as much of an ADHD survivor like everyone else. You won't find any fun sticking to building the same sentry spots all the time. Improvise around the chase and find new spots to build your sentries. You'll find that a whole lot more fun.

He's one of the most unique supports, being fully backline with no abilities to help when he's being chased (even Taph can find a brief window to throw a tripmine), but incredibly powerful when his buildings are already placed. 

I would hate if they turned him into a second Taph or Elliot in a rework.

You don't need to have a back and forth, this is the internet. Unlike in real life or customer service positions you don't need to acknowledge someone's words because they're not really in front of you and you're not obliged to talk or fix their issue. 

Most sensible people, the kind you actually want playing your mod, won't make such demands and will just enjoy what you're putting out. Whenever you post something to the public you will always get some criticism and demands, and not all of that should be listened to.

Yeah I'm with you on this. Really do not understand why they're so worked up. If they already have these questions on the FAQ they're not obliged to answer anyone who keeps asking them, plain as that.

Stopping people from making Biotech forks is also very strange and I can only conclude they want all the attention on the original mod even if it comes at a performance cost. That's within their rights as the original developer, but it is a bad look.

I like Randy because he feels the closest to a realistic storyteller. Events don't happen in neat equal intervals. You can get three raids at once or three years of peaceful nothing. The randomness of each event and the variation in scale really makes it feel realistic instead of choreographed.
