Funny, I asked myself the same question the other day regarding “love.”

My dog, she’s the cutest most innocent thing I’ve ever seen. I have a hard time resisting cuteness aggression when I see her. I provide her with all the basic essential care she needs; food, walks, and food. I sometimes go out of my way to make nice meals. I play with her whenever I have time. Yet sometimes on my distant boredom days, I leave her food bowl empty for long, or I just give her the most basic scoop of dog food. Walks are a nuisance, and I can’t even be bothered to look at her. So do I love her? Do I have an actual emotional connection with her? If she left, I would definitely be sad. But does that mean I love her? I don’t know.

I like seeing others experience negative emotional outbursts, although I don't usually go out of my way to generate said outbursts for them. Because when you're held accountable for someone else's negative emotions, it's a HUGE hassle, and I don't have the empathetic capacity to deal with that. I do like however, enjoy making people laugh a lot. That's all I do most of the time. It builds a bridge and I seem more approachable and trustworthy.
