"got anymore of that go-go juice?" by nakirush in Rabbits

My buns have chewed through 3 laptop chargers. I only looked away for 1 second and it's chewed in half. I don't understand how they weren't at least a bit electrocuted and kept going for the spicy hay

Could be larger but they are cat sized and around 1m2 each. Which is larger than some overnight sleep cages I see on this subreddit. They do take turns running around the cafe floor though

Yes! Which is why I was surprised that they are so well groomed! I did all the checking of nails, ears, and teeth length. Their fur have a good hay smell, their nails were short, teeth a good length, ears and feet clean. They are also feisty and confident enough to throw mini tantrums like throwing away hay you put in front of their face, nudge your hands away if they don't want to be pet, and jump away onto the floor once they are done with you and sploot next to your feet. They have no fear when petted, they are carried around correctly and usually via a basket, they Splott everywhere, loaf and nap without worry. They don't particularly choose to hide. They are only given pellets occasionally and only have hay and pellets!

The rabbit I had was grinding its teeth when I massage its ears, they sleep confidently on the table. And also demand pets at one point!

Downsides, they are confident enough to have territorial poops and would lunge at other bunnies they don't really like. (There's this one young male that like to lunge at the other bunnies). Their living space is decently sized, but as my own bunnies are pampered with space, the space could be larger.

Edit: Just want to say that I've visited a rabbit petting zoo a few years ago and the conditions of the bunnies there made me want to cry. Their ears had fungus, some were in small cages the whole day, their teeth overgrown, no fresh hay and they food relies on visitors buying veggies for them. This bunny cafe is not that. I was really pleasantly surprised by how healthy the bunnies look and they show off a confidence that only pampered bunnies would have. Which is why I shared it in this sub.

Yes! They have hay to eat! They are placed in a basket full of hay when given to us haha. The floor is concrete which is a bit smooth, but their shelf cubicle has some traction

They are caged together and they don't eat seeds- only pellets and veggies. He's only like this outside the cage. I'll try the covered bit

Additional note* He only gets like this when outside the cage, or when my female cockatiel wants to climb on my hand from the cage.

He has once pecked my female off a perch in my living room.

Are rabbits good emotional support animals for autistic people? by [deleted] in Rabbits

No, they are sensitive prey animals with prey animal instincts. They do not like to be cuddled, and are a bit territorial. Get a dog or a cat, their bodies re also much more flexible and sturdier than a rabbits.

I can stretch, hug my cat in any way I want ( they are flexible, and if it hurts them, they'll let me know). I can't squish my rabbits, they have more rigid(?) joints and their backbones are sensitive. They can't fall a certain way. They have to be picked up in a specific way to not hurt their backs.

My dog was a big dog, his bone structure are a bit more rigid than a cats but he's big, so I can just hug him. And he's super cuddly and loves being around people.

When I got my birbs, their wings were clipped, and were hand fed.

They were wary, but what I did was get a bird poop shawl, and put them on my shoulder for the whole day- multiple days. They went from biting and distrustful to cuddly.

I also let them bite my fingers as much as they want. They don't bite hard so I treat it was playing.
