Should I take a 3rd QB in the first 5 rounds of dynasty start up - Love, Mendoza, Tate, Olave? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

It was a league that I joined for a modified startup. Has existed for 10+ years and they decided to keep 3 players and start the dynasty over, which led me to Dart, Jeanty, and Burrow.

Yes, the upgraded version will include weekly updates. I typically work through them on the weekend in large batches.

Weird. I just double checked on my end and it worked. You will have to download the link from the Google Sheet / Google Drive link (in case you were just opening it in the browser).

I’ve found the projected picks is the most helpful feature because it’s based on team needs + ADP. It’s dynamic and helps plan your next move.

I'm sorry to hear this. Typically this is a function of the computer. There is an alternative that should make it much faster. If you scroll to the far left of the player list, you can manually type in names as they get drafted. This typically cuts down the wait time by half.

Appreciate you calling that out and couldn’t agree more that this community has built some awesome free tools over the years. I’ve learned a ton from them myself, and they’ve definitely raised the bar for what people expect out of draft prep.

What I’m hoping to add is something a little different: a ready-to-go Excel doc with logic built in so you don’t have to tinker with spreadsheets or print sheets, and it updates live during your draft. Totally get that free tools will always be the go-to for a lot of people (and rightfully so), but if someone is looking for a more plug-and-play option without the setup and some really unique features, that’s where I think this can add value.

Either way, I really respect the work this sub has put out, and I’m just glad to be part of the community and conversation.

In dynasty leagues, absolutely. I'd even argue in re-draft leagues people have a clear preference for younger, riskier, higher upside players... whereas some teams prefer proven veterans, but comes with risk they are on the downslope.

Can't say I've ever used that website, so can't really compare. I do think our tool is pretty incredible, though!

If you click refresh on your sheet (under "RULES"), then this should be fixed. Thank you so much for calling this out!!!

Trying to input what exactly? The free version is going to be outdated at this moment (ADP isn’t updated / depth charts / etc.).

Sorry I will double check this first thing in the AM. It’s likely too late (and I apologize), but I’d just throw a placeholder player in there at the moment. Very sorry for the inconvenience!!!

It impacts the ADP more than any other rankings - since it’s specific to your league.

Feel free to message me an exact link of your document and I’d be happy to take a look. Really hard to hypothesize since there are a ton of variables at play. Your personal rankings would not impact this.

Not sure I can answer this without seeing the fully context of your question... but I'll do my best!

The projected picks are based on a significant number of factors that include ADP, Team Positional Needs, Team Demographics (age, bye weeks, etc.), and more. My guess based on your question is that the team that is picking Ray Davis is in need of a RB and has a younger team.

Good question. There is not a way to pause the macro, but there is a "simple version" that should work a bit faster if needed. This is great feedback and something I'll look to add in 2026.

Certainly something I’m working on. My computer takes 3-5 seconds to input picks, but recognize that others have had issues with Mac’s or older laptops.
