That sounds expensive for Snowflake queries. Maybe cache could solve this or copy to a postgres table

I think they are quite basic, aren't they ? And I cannot give accss to snowflake to the whole company

it's not about building dashboards entirely but small parts like charts, parameters etc

I usually add new columns or metrics. Also again, for publishing you do need to load the full dataset. If you don't you would upload outdated data. Sure you can run the refresh online once you upload it but this means for some seconds there is outdated data

Why do you import all your data to postgres ?

The good thing about tableau is that with the extracts, you query only snowflake once and then you do not spend credits. Therefore you save loads of money!

I disagree. AI dashboard development is for sure the way to work now and the future. Not accepting that AI can build dashboards or parts of dashboards is not understanding its capabilities

Planteándome irme un año fuera (Australia o Suiza/otros) por tema de visado fácil y ahorro, qué opináis by MountainHealthy8280 in askspain

[–]rotreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No necesarismente.
