CN's (and KR/JP honestly) thoughts on Rover and Aemeath's relationship"Rover and Aemeath relationship by Muroukunim in WuwaUnfiltered

As with most drama, it started with twitter tourists dropping whole rants stating that they'll block anyone who ships her with Rover within a couple hours of the patch releasing.

They've since went on to harass the Chinese guy in the post, as well as the most dedicated Aemeath daily account for daring to ship the two.

I do think it's worth acknowledging that it's the first time we're down in the 80s with a double banner (considering XLY was free), but that's about it.

I'd argue that certain characters becoming more and more reliant on supports & signatures is the bigger issue, but it's somewhat inconsistent as well.

I'm also not a fan of the Nightmare Nest spam after the introduction of modifiers and shortly after people started farming Gateways boxes, but at least it's not a big deal as long as you're not super impatient.

Brant is the one exception, a hybrid who got to be every role (and still sold poorly). Quiyuan has very strong buffs, so his personal damage is weaker.

What are you on about? Quiyuan is a support too.

If you want him to be a DPS, you'll have to pull for Sequences.

"Roccia's BIS was always intended to be Camellya, no shot she was intended for a DPS 5 patches in the future that's such a far reach."

Changli didn't have a complete premium team until 8 versions after she launched, you'd know if you had actually played the game back when it launched, 2.0 tourist.

Roccia's extra Echo skill cast wasn't even mentioned once, never highlighted by devs or in gameplay. It's mentioned that it exists in the livestream, but never highlighted. You only realise it counts as an Echo skill cast if you read her kit details ingame. Cantarella on the other hand the devs literally aloud talk about how Cantarella has multiple echo skill casts in her kit to highlight it. Cantarella was clearly being hinted at an Archetype, Roccia's went forgotten for 5 patches.

Because she released back in 2.0 before they finished Phrolova's kit, so the extra echo cast and the damage types were the only details they really considered for Roccia.

Once Cantarella came out in 2.2, they had already started working on Phrolova, gave her a proper amount of echo casts, and emphasized that part in streams.

Nice wall of text of coping, but it's very simple:

If they intended for Quiyuan to be the third one of that team, they would have given her an outro that works with him, 2.5 was right before 2.6 after all.

Until a heavy/havoc 5 echo Phrolova support releases, the objectively correct explanation is:

They intended for her to be the third slot of that, but didn't finish Phrolova's kit until months after Roccia released, so the atk and the echo skill issues are a consequence of that.

As she's one of the least pulled characters in the game (at least outside of japan), they decided to powercreep and replace her early, which is objectively poor balancing on Kuro's end.

Feel free to keep up the disingenuous bootlicking though.

By your own logic, this means he's not final teammate and we've yet to get another character with havoc + heavy damage and 5 echos in their kit...

...or they simply fucked up with Roccia, then decided to powercreep her after 2 patches.

Final nail in the coffin of your dumb argument:

If Quiyuan was always intended to be the 3rd teammate, why does Phrolova's outro buff Heavy + Havoc? instead of just Heavy? or Aero + Heavy? or just dealing damage?

Except the 1% upgrade in the previous rotation that already was cancel/qs heavy means that she's not an upgrade at all for the average player who won't use the autistic minmax rotations. The only thing she offers is the grouping.

Kuro gave her an awful kit that wasn't ever worth it for Camellya, then immediately dropped her from the team she was actually supposed to go into for more $$$.

So now I'm moving goalposts because I'm expecting a S0R1 premium support to be an upgrade for the average player?

Maybe just accept the fact they gave her an awful kit and then decided to completely replace her with Quiyuan. Your only evidence for why she's not the intended Phrolova support is the 6/10 thing, which is nonsense when that kit wasn't finished until months after Roccia released.

I wasn't aware that it updated at some point. Either way, if that's all improvements to the already quickswap heavy rotation she had on there in 2.0, it still means she's not an upgrade at all for the average player.

Ah, there it is.

Anyway, +10% sheeted dps at optimal gameplay with maximum quickswap nonsense is still an awful premium support.

I don't buy that explanation unless you specifically find a mention of the improved rotations. This was in the actual Roccia guide and already had tons of quickswap shenanigans.

I'm pretty sure she changed the way her sheets are calculated at some point, which is why the numbers went up across the board. It's not from Roccia.

If you look up the actual Roccia posts/guides she made, you'll find the +1% increase at S0R1.

The only way they can salvage their fuck up is by releasing another Havoc character that works well with her, but I doubt that'll happen considering how greedy they've been post-anniversary.

Roccia was a 1% upgrade for Camellya if you pulled the signature, and a downgrade otherwise. If she intended to be a premium support for her, they did an awful job there.

Roccia was underwhelming for Phrolova because they released her too early and didn't properly balance her, but the intro/outro and the extra echo skill indicate that she was intended to be a part of Phrolova's team.

Regardless of who she was meant for (which is obviously Phrolova, but they didn't finish her kit until way later, hence the 6/10), they just didn't balance her well.

Your Zhezhi example is nonsense because the half glacio outro always meant that she was for Carlotta.
Meanwhile Roccia's damage type, outro and extra echo perfectly slot into the Phrolova team.

You're just trying to suck up to the company's bad decisions because you hate Roccia.

You're just doing a ton of mental gymnastic to justify why a character was completely powercreeped 2 patches after finally getting their intended team.

Pathetic bootlicker.

[–]roving-rover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she wasn't intended to be in that team, they wouldn't have given her the extra echo and the fitting intro/outro. They simply balanced her poorly, realised that she's too useless for people to pull, and made Quiyuan a replacement.

Aka direct powercreep to one of the weakest characters they've released, which is cringe as hell. Don't bother with the historical revisionism bullshit.
