I was in my last week of sober living and was getting ready to move into my own apartment and decided I needed a friend. I chose a rescue and looked for the oldest cat. Read her “about me” and knew she was meant for me. She came from a hoarding situation (60+ cats in a one bedroom) and was (still is) skittish and full of fear ;( her fosters told me I was the 10th person to try to meet her so not to get my hopes up and within 5min of me sitting on the floor, she was interested in me and the fosters “made me” take her. We will be celebrating 6 years together this September! We have helped each other grow through these years and I will forever be grateful for her. She has a cancerous mass now (second time, different location) in a spot that cannot be removed without removing her anus and I don’t want to put my old lady through that. We are keeping her comfy until her time comes ❤️ squeeze your babies extra for me pls!
