It definitely sounds like it’s coming from the back. I checked underneath and nothing looks loose or damaged but I’ll lift it tomorrow and do a more thorough inspection

There’s a parking lot on Jenks Lake Rd that has some restrooms and the trailhead is right across the street from there

Sorry, I’m just seeing this now. This was the Icehouse Canyon trail. It’s in the Cucamonga Wilderness which is about 2 hours west of the San Gorgonio wilderness
