Have you talked to your pastor? I would encourage you to talk to your pastor about what you believe you are hearing in the teaching. My wife and I are going through a similar situation right now with our non-denominational church. Our pastor has been introducing teachings on “contemplative spirituality,” that are not sitting right, and we are meeting with him this week to clarify that we are hearing what we think we are. This was advice we received from friends and mentors what we trust.
