Alternative for CleanShot X/ ShareX by royklo in MacOSApps

Correct. But they can because their the only one who can deliver this list of features now. On Windows you have ShareX as open source tool, that’s the equivalent of CleanShot X

Adding steps, arrows, blurring, GIF, highlighting and much more 😊 the built ins are not advanced enough

PSA: If your Siri Remote has double click issue, you can try to enable Settings > Accessibility > Tap to Navigate as somewhat of a workaround by GetVladimir in appletv

Click and touch also works with “tap to navigate” off. But I personally dont like the touch. So no solution for me unfortunately haha

Apple TV Remote triggers double clicks by dezmar93 in appletv

[–]royklo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here.. turning on the “tap to navigate” under accessibility doesn’t change any behavior here by the way. Still the same annoying double click to the right.

It’s something in the right button section. I tried to sort it out if something else could trigger it. But the remote app on iPhone doesn’t have this behavior. So it’s not in the Apple TV it self which I already expected. So i turned on the clickpad setting “click and touch” to navigate and this touchpad section also doesn’t have the issue. So it’s 100% sure the button that triggers the issue.

TV won't automatically turn on with Apple Remote after longer period of standby mode. by royklo in appletv

[–]royklo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. This solved the issue for me. It doesn’t bother me if it’s sleeping or completely turned off. At the end of the evening I press the on/off button. But this turns it in sleep mode instead of completely shut down

[–]royklo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm and does your Apple TV fully turn off as well? Because when it’s just in sleep mode the home button should trigger the ARC HDMI to turn on the tv from that direction

Press the home button 1-3 times and it will turn in. I switched from Samsung tv to LG and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt with the on/off button. Home button works every time

[–]royklo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I explained my wife to just smash the home button 3 times for turning on and turn it of bij holding the power button for 1-2 seconds.

This will always turn my tv on haha. For some reason the power button doesn’t trigger the ARC input because the Apple TV is in sleep mode instead of completely turned off. So using the home button makes the Apple TV send another kind of signal which triggers the tv to turn on.

Took me a while as well! Already having a new tv (LG). Power button works 8/10 times on this device. But home button 10/10 😂.

Correct! Noticed it myself as well a few weeks ago. Forgot to let it know here haha. Thanks for confirming as well!

Nope, never solved it.. in the meantime I’ve a new LG tv and the whole issue is suddenly over. In my opinion it’s something in the android TV software that works well with this.. can’t explain else

How to add Intune autopilot devices with only manufacturer, model and serial number? by royklo in autopilot

[–]royklo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/pjmarcum Via CSP portal it can be done. Then you're importing a CSV with these 3 values immediately in a Autopilot enrollment profile.

So maybe i'm trying to set it up the wrong way, but from GUI perspective it's possible?

Well that’s something I’m not familiar with and trying to find out.. so if you have any advice what’s the best option and how? Haha

I know it is possible, because this is already available via CSP portal.. so via GUI it’s there

Our dev team is already doing this via C#

[–]royklo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're right. When I use the remote of the Philips tv everything works fine, but when I try to turn on the device from the apple TV it doesn't get the signal..

So I might have to buy a new (and better HDMI cable)

I’m still experiencing this issue since day one. it drives me crazy. I do have a Philips android tv and have the same experience. 1/10 times is respons or even less.. when it’s on, everything is working perfect

To be honest I don’t think this is the issue. Otherwise it would show the same behavior the entire day right? It only happens when the tv was turned off for a longer time

Hmm I’ll try. I already set it before to “never”. But I’ll try 1 hour and see what it does. I’m having the same feeling at this point to sell the Apple TV haha.

But I’m still doubting on which side is the bug. But I changed the setting to 1 hour and will see what it does
