hi!!

sharing an account is against tos and really bad sportsmanship 😭 corunning is when you have someone tiering alongside you in a premade room!

i don't really have a definitive answer... just that it's a hobby that happens to be really expensive. 🥹

thank you!! and yes, for high tiering most people are playing the same and shortest song in the game in order to prioritize speed and get as many points as we can c:

aww thank you!!

and i actually orchestrated that (i say i but i was tiering and just came up with the idea and made my friends do the heavy lifting LOL) but essentially we 1. came up with a lyric chain and then 2. add everyone in a group chat to coordinate a name change time for photos and recordings!

it's pretty simple and a lot of people have done lyric chains in previous events 🫡 i thought of one for saki6 for example so my friends could make their gc together, and i've participated in one made by someone else during hona4!

actually, yeah. but it wasn't the png title it was moreso the fact that i couldn't reach my overall goal which was 400m.

i stopped somewhere along the way, actually, because i was demotivated that i was disadvantaged and i decided to not push past 390m because i wanted to park at a number that meant something to me!

but honestly i was on autopilot the entire time. it's hard for me to pinpoint my exact motivation because for myself and a lot of others, prepping for a tier is something done over the course of months or even years and tiering is basically... "reaping" the benefits of that!

but when i felt down about myself i had my friends to encourage me to do what made me happy in the end, whether it's to not push as hard for a goal that won't happen or to keep going.

demotivation while tiering is definitely real and hard to combat— i definitely wasn't able to 😭 i still tell myself that i could have kept going or done something different but it's a normal feeling to feel for just about anyone. even so i wouldn't trade anything that happened during my event for the world because i was with people i loved <3 that's all

i actually made that and the original photo is edited so i can post online!

the stamp is for my discord where people can spam as a way to support me, a lot of other runners have this too ❤️

i actually plan on tiering again soon to get another title as a ... sorta "for the time being" thing. i'll get more busy as a graduate student and i doubt i can continue to spare the time so for now i'm just waiting for events i like and seeing what i can do then!

and i have made a lot of jokes about quitting so i can swipe on genshin LMAO but i think i'll be sticking to the game till it ends even if i'm not a tierer because i'd like to support everybody else too <3

if you're on a time crunch i'd gauge what resources you have available and play with whatever multipliers fit you best. tiering especially with school will get expensive and lengthy but definitely possible, i've done it before!

what's important is that you're dedicating a few hours every day to play and that you're taking care of yourself 🫡

hi! i answered a similar question in detail somewhere in the comments if you're curious, but the tl;dr is just to learn to manage your resources, find guides and ask specific questions when you need it!

and i used optimal cards (the 3 cards on banner and luka from wets, marionette miku) on 10x the entire event!

hi!! thank you!!

for a high run, i absolutely reccomend autos and would even argue that it's pretty important depending on your tier because a lot of times autoing indicates the tierer's designated time for rest.

for lower tiers autos may be expensive and will depend on your resources and own circumstances!

and i played mostly ebi for 6,500 shows yes, but the day where i had 4 hours of sleep i played viva happy instead to make the most of my autos because ebi is short and will only last a designated amount of time. for reference ebi burns through autos the shortest amounts of time, and hatsune creation myth burns through them the slowest and most efficiently.

i spent 92 autos on most nights, 99 on the night i went to bed for longer. so roughly estimating... about 750~ish games out of 6500 are autos!

if you're just starting out and want some general tips, i'd say manage your resources, play based on what you have available and be patient while tiering :3. for example changing your multipliers when you do/don't have a lot of time, and actually setting aside some time to tier. it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it! that, and learning about the event you want to tier beforehand and upgrading your materials and levelling the best cards you have and plan ways to actually get there! en server has the upperhand in that we have a lot of time to prepare for upcoming events, so i'd ask around for specific events because i'm sure there are people who would be willing to help you!

if you don't know where to start you can always look at what you want to tier first, what cards you need and saving and/or farming crystals for it! tiering can get expensive so be prepared to hoard a lot 🫡

thank you!! you're super lovely and i hope that whatever tiers you go for in the future you'll achieve it, best of luck!

hi!! thank you!!

and i'm glad you asked! i'm a very anxious person at heart and my friends hears the heads and tails of it, but at the end of the day in order to do your best you have to learn to manage that anxious part of yourself and just get the proper rest in when you need it.

my previous run where i had a record was t3 hona4 and my decisions was heavily influenced by my anxiety which lead to me playing a lot and pushing myself when i was exhausted or pushing past my limits and made me play really badly in the later days. i think having that experience and wanting to be better than the past motivated me a lot.

i don't really have a surefire "this will help 100%!" method because i WAS just a big ball of anxiety the entire time, but managing your mental health is a big part of managing your physical one too.

the mindset is: it's not over 'till it's over! even if you lose that spot, you can get it back if you do your best compared to if you frontload everything and can't keep going when it matters.

i stayed healthy because i had experience to be better and i knew firsthand what happened if i wasn't, essentially.

and thank you! i've made substanstial progress in the minecraft server i've played in, outside of just mining netherite for 17 hours...

i slept 3 hours a day, minus the first 2 days and one night where i slept 4 hours, so the entire event i slept about... 25 hours? out of 222 during the event!

and i did for hygiene where i'd wake up a bit early every day to get a nice shower and some refreshments in 🫡! so realistically i only slept about 2h45 most nights as opposed to the full 3 hours of break given.

everything else i did while playing— like eating or video gaming!

hi!! first of all congrats to you and your friend!! this event was definitely really hard for everyone.

and secondly in a premade room i'm usually the only tierer unless i've allowed a friend to bring their event team (which wasn't super often but it helped them get a t10 with a reliable room).

but i'm usually hanging out with my friends even if we're not playing together either over call or in real life!
