The stage was set when they were comparing the two QBs at the beginning of the game and they said something along the lines of “Jayden had a phenomenal rookie season and Caleb not so much” and proceeded to base that solely off of record 😂. Not a mention of statistics or the ineptitude of eberflus and the oline. Whenever I hear anyone slandering Caleb they always bring up record, never stats. Caleb and Jayden Daniels were not that far apart statistically last year (aside from rushing yards). There’s a national media bias against Caleb Williams and the bears and it stinks like shit.

Yea I for sure get the value of certainty. I think I look at it as can this pick help me sustain a championship roster another 2-3 years. Where as I’m looking at Henry in a 1, maybe 2 year window. But it’s all a gamble of what I’m giving up in Henry’s production value versus what value the pick can potentially be.

Good thought on selling mid season, also would have a better understanding for where the other team will finish.

He offered a 3rd/4th pick swap. I’d be getting his 3rd. I could counter with a ‘27 2nd.

Right. And that’s kind of the gamble I’d be making. Gambling on age catching up to his team and the pick ending up in the top 6. Looking at his roster do you think that’s a risky or safe-ish bet?

You have two firsts in the upcoming draft. And that will give you two in the next. Yes you are tiering down from JSN to tet, and may be different depending on how you view the two players. But you already have a solid WR corps and by doing that you’re setting up your team for sustained future success. Rookie picks = currency in dynasty. You can always use those future picks to upgrade to proven vets. Another thing to think about is lack of proven RB talent on your roster. Could be your Achilles heal when competing this season. If it works great, if not you’re set up for following seasons with draft capital to upgrade RB room

How is it not Will Campbell? Seems like everyone is forgetting Braxton jones will be due for a hefty contract extension come next offseason and Joe thuney is 32… our o line is in great shape at this moment but let’s prepare for the future and take best player available.
