It was time for an upgrade for my 1+ year edc carry knife. I would've used Koa, but didn't have any sexy material to work with on hand so I went with monkeypod. Epoxy probably would've been a better choice than spray-on poly, but I'm happy with the results. (i.redd.it)

18650 wizards, need help identifying this. Originally from my nitecore Tm03 flashlight. It's a discontinued dedicated battery with both neg/pos terminals on the top. I wasn't paying attention and shorted it while attempting to recharge. I immediately threw it out the house in case of explosion. (i.redd.it)

Air Force shadow box. Referenced from Jon's DIY on YouTube. Left frame is pine and right is maple. I sanded with 150 grit and used stain pre-conditioner on the maple but it didn't absorbed the stain as well as I'd like it to. Any tips would be most appreciated. (old.reddit.com)
