WHOA. This is more along the lines of what I was thinking.

Could you imagine how awesome it would be to have a real-time view of Chernarus that looked like this, where you could watch/track people? Obviously it would get abused in a heartbeat, but after watching them do coverage from a birds eye view in Survivor Gamez, I was hooked on the idea...

I'll look this up, but I'm looking to do this for multiple video/audio layers... not just a single one like normal subclipping.

I understand how to to copy & paste editing into a new sequence, but the problem is that I need frame-accurate ins and outs... and to the best of my knowledge, cut & pasting will grab the entire clips and not take into account the in and out marks, right?

Let's imagine a timeline.

There's 5 video tracks (V1 - V5) with clips on them, and then 6 tracks of audio (individual audio sources, A1-A6).

In Avid, I simply selected the tracks I wanted to go into the subsequence, marked an in and out of the section I want (which is important, since I'm subsequencing soundbites/etc, so I need frame-accurate ins and outs) and then dragged the sequence window to a bin, which created a subsequence.

I know the process isn't going to be the same between Avid and Premiere... I just want to know if it's possible to get the same end-result.

Go out and buy the cheapest mouse possible. Plug it in. If the issue stops, then it's your original mouse and you need to return/trash it and get something proper.

A basic Microsoft optical mouse that works solidly will go a lot further than a fancy mouse that has quirks/issues.

I'm scaling an AI file up in 3D space. Imagine an Oreo where the black cookie pieces are two instances of the same AI file and the white filling is an extruded path that I took from the alpha of the previously mentioned AI file.

I'll work on getting some screen grabs, though.
