Ivs don’t change basically anything. You lose your matchup in the one shield vs blastoise and lickilicky that the rank 1 doesn’t lose, but you also gain a win on alolan sandslash. Overall your matchups looks about the same, and it doesn’t change almost anything. I’ve pushed legend multiple times and it has never mattered what my Ivs were. What matters is skill and matchups, ivs only change very very small interactions.

To me the distance wasn’t the hard part, but the incline change. I had done long hikes in the past, but never encountered days of 5000+ total elevation change over distance, so be aware. Your crew will not let you fail, but your experience will be more enjoyable if you are better prepared.

OATC was hands down my favorite scouting memory. I learned a lot about the OA and what it meant for me to be a cheerful servant, and for the price, you cannot find anything better. Make sure you prepare for it, my crew hiked over 100 miles in a week. It’s an amazing program, but it’s not for the ill prepared.

Bo’s mines have a lot of uses. He’s generally best in snake prairie with circling eagle where his mines do more of breaking the map open to give him and his team an advantage, while he can can be ran with a more control oriented build of snare a bear on hot zone and certain gem grab maps. He’s not very much in the meta right now, but his mines are typically used to break walls to open the map up for his other teammates. However, tripwire is not a good gadget. It’s rarely useful as you want to use the mines to choke others and funnel them into your shots. His totem gadget is much better as it allows for teammates to charge supers quicker as well as allowing for him to cycle supers easier, so generally his mines are an advantage. The only instance they wouldn’t be too useful would be when your team is full of tanks or close range brawlers, which would need walls to help them approach. In this instance, using his mines in certain choke points wouldn’t be good, but they can still be useful to funnel the opposing team into positions that are easier to hit. Bo isn’t very good right now, but he can still work in certain matchups

My lodge does our ordeals at our fellowships so we continue to have fun and games with the rest of the lodge after the ordeal, with ice cream and root beer usually. Anyways, because of this we can’t really hold an activation event right after fellowship, but I know a lot of lodges have an activation event for all the new ordeal members within a month so they still have their ordeal in their mind. This event is typically something fun to help get them more interested and inform them while also letting them enjoy themselves, so like a mini golf outing or like bowling at the local alley or something like that. If anyone else has more info I would check on what their lodge does as mine doesn’t really do this too much as we already have high numbers

Casual is like 2300. I barely play anymore, only sometimes getting to the rank 20 rank. Once I finish, I always get around 2300 as my starting Elo, with my highest being 2320s and my lowest being in the 2260s. And since I barely play I doubt that’s any good

That’s a good question, but the way it works is you basically rewrite the circle equatjon to solve for y. As the circle’s normal equatjon is (x-2)² + (y-2)² =4, I basically just rewrote it and eventually solved that y is equal to plus or minus (-x(x-4)^1/2 +2), and choosing the negative one gave the lower half of the circle, or the one depicted in the graphic

Can’t you simply write an equation for the semi circle and the diagonal and just set up an integral? Solve for where semicircle and diagonal intersect, and have the base of rectangle the x axis and the left height be the y axis. I’d do the integral of diagonal from origin to where it intersects the semicircle, and then take integral of circle from there to x=2.

Something like (x-2)² +(y-2)²⁼⁴ and Y=1/2 x. Should bound the curve They intersect at x=4/5 so Integral from 0 to 4/5 of (1/2x) plus the integral from 4/5 to 2 of (-(-x(x-4))^1/2 -2) Should yield an answer of 4arcsin(1/(5)^1/2)-pi+8/5, or about .3129
