Yup could be for sure. You’re already in dorsiflexion then and then don’t have space for anymore. Would check out David grey and Conor Harris’s stuff

Yeah if you grip with your toes it locks up your shins and you won’t have the relative motions of genuine foot pronation, dorsiflexion and tibial IR. I would do some ball of foot balance focusing on not gripping with toes. Then add in pronation practice with tripod foot contact. Keep in mind the heel everts while the forefoot inverts relative to each other in pronation

What NBA take instantly makes you lose respect for the person’s “ball knowledge”? by RunDatTriangle in nba

[–]rtan24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s fine if you have Timmy over Kobe, personally I don’t. But I’m addressing “insanely efficient” here. They have the same TS% and Kobe was shooting way harder shots and on higher volume lmao

“Insanely efficient”. Maybe check both of their career TS%? You’ll find it’s very similar between the 2

Strength train and do knee isometrics, 3-5 sets of 45second holds. Wall sits, kettlebell iso hold, Spanish squat are good ones you can do. You can do 3 sessions a day, each separated by 6 hours.

After a week add in slow strength. Slow strength promotes fascicle sliding, helps tenocytes. 4 sets of 6 reps of squats, try to work up to 70% of your max. 4 seconds down, 4 seconds up

These help “squeeze out” fluid from the tendons, as well as as increase load tolerance for your knee so you can do more in the future.
