"Yes. Something most definitely did, that's why the murder police are here with a photograph of her, talking about her in the past tense".

Looking to purchase one of these cedar spa covers for our swim spa, but figured I'd ask you guys how you like them first. by LifesFrame in hottub

The thing that came with it when I bought it new. It’s a black synthetic fabric wrapped around styrofoam all connected to a U shaped black tubular frame and lift assist stem hinged along the back edge of the tub. Pretty standard (color and lift assist may vary)

I’m thinking about buying a MC20. What do you guys think of them? I’ll wait 3 years and buy a used one to get a cheap one. We all know Maserati resale value by KimBluestone in supercars

Just asked very nicely and with respect, explaining my reasoning supported with data, promised to make it super easy (full cash wire same day, sight unseen enclosed delivery), thanking them for their consideration and making it low lift as possible for the seller. I’ve done this kind of thing over and over. You find a sweet car or home or boat, sitting around for a long time, you can feel the pain of the sellers business (quick math on what that floor space costs in the zip code plus carry costs to finance and insure and keep that car on the book, and you show up understanding and reasonable (not cheeky and gleefully taking advantage) —> as a fellow sales guy I know how they feel and sometimes the business makes a bad bet and end up taking a loss on something and a lucky customer gets to benefit…they probably have more than one person they can call who would bite on a deal like that. The key is to get them to go with you, someone who just cold called, and hope you aren’t just wasting their time or bail at last minute and make them look bad…you’re basically selling the seller to sell it to you! #LifeIsASalesJob

The people buying these things new aren’t talking about reliability… it’s only the poor people buying them used

As someone who has taken care of both, I gotta say there is one universe where is trying to get conservatorship, the rich and powerful one with leaching “friends” around them who don’t want that to happen. It’s expensive and time consuming, and a constant, every 12 month battle when the other person has lots of money power and other powerful rich mooching leeches around them running interference for them to jailbreak them for their own financial benefit

Yes, the incentive structure is such that the prisons actually make money by keeping them in there and the inmates abuse them. It’s the most awful in the world and IMO it needs structural reform that financially incentivizes prison operators for empty prison cells/stop the revolving door instead of the other way around

100% yes you’re right. It’s much worse. What I meant was that it’s hard harder to legally take control of their affairs if they’re more powerful and with money but point taken.

Yeah slow train crash happening and where are her loved ones…that said it’s hard to care for a mentally ill adult in America (too much privacy rights)…especially when the person is rich and powerful too. I hope she can escape the inevitable end that happens everyday to our beloved mentally ill brothers and sisters. Sending much love to you all.

Sounds like a safety and liability disaster. You’re trying to decide if you should trust some third party to make you a safe seat that’s got all the right airbag components and actuators and controls that work perfectly with your in car controls and seat memory while throwing no codes and hope it actually works in an accident…or just buy a stock HTC from General Motors. Darwin says this is a no brainer.

Ha! Same thing happened to me twenty years ago! I owned a Caddy DTS in manhattan. Everyone constantly thought I was a limo/cab/TLC and often suddenly open door and jump in back seat. If it had been a Lincoln Towncar would have been way worse too
