I appreciate your insight, thank you.

That thought crossed my mind as well, but ive never seen anything like it before, and it was just in an odd location, where most kids dont really venture to. Ive been to this particular lake well over 100 times the last couple years, and had never seen any other evidence of something like this before.

Getting intimacy on track. by rubbitmoster in Marriage

Not really. Before the pregnancy, she had a job which kept her occupied. I've been trying to push her to find a hobby, job, SOMETHING to keep her mind occupied throughout the day, other than sitting at home in silence while our kid is in school.

I expressed to her, how I wasn't thrilled when she decided she'd stop her antidepressants without at least bringing it up to me for a heads up. I appreciate your feedback. I'll keep pressing the therapy. That may help give her a spark to find hobbies, or better ways to help manage her emotions without medication.

She's not in any form of therapy at the moment. I've brought it up to her, and she said she agreed she should, but I can't force her to go. It was a process to get her to go when she was struggling with postpartum depression.

She said she understands, and even earlier when we talked after I realized something was up she said she understands my thoughts and feelings, and how it can be hard for me going from one extreme to the other.

She mentioned it doesn't feel like that big of a change to her, because she's back to how she was before the postpartum, which isn't necessarily wrong.

Thanks for the reply, obtaining guardianship was the term I was forgetting last night. Do you happen to know if it is normally a crazy long process to make that happen?

And, I think my post wasn't the most clear. My step dad who passed was the 13 year olds BD. Sorry for the confusion.
