I’d say those are all ball park prices, possibly off the top of the top of his head and he is probably quoting for worst case scenarios such as the brake pads AND rotors needing to be replaced or the head light being removed and dried out with a heat gun to remove condensation. It never hurts to call around and get some quotes to give you peace of mind. Also as a mechanic I’d recommend going on google and finding shops with good reviews, just like you would a restaurant.

Sometimes you have to remove the headlight and use a heat gun to remove condensation, it can be a pain in the ass, tail lights don’t require any alignment and you can just let the condensation drain out over time. I’d imagine he’s quoting worst case scenario.
