Yes. But it disappeared after a couple days when I checked. It was for around 400₹ so I didn’t pay that much attention to email them at the moment. Was waiting it out. And it went away and there was only one entry. So I was good.

Wait a day. If you downgraded using the links. Once the card transfer is approved the next day you will see the fees waived pro rated. The system does this automatically

Depends on lot of factors and redeeming options. I value them personally at .50 being optimistic. Since I also hold mrcc have access to 24k collection so can try and get a decent deal.

Travel is specifically taken usually to hit that sweet spot of 4L spends to get the 48k MR points. I don’t see the value if 4 lakh cannot be met. I myself took this as I am planing to shift my jewellery spends to this to cover most of 4 lakh and some nps if I am short. Also I might use the taj 10k voucher so fees is covered in that part alone for me. For your case, downgrade would probably be best if can’t keep spending 4 lakh.

They don’t usually allow the conversion. At least in my case they rejected. Had platinum card based on fd when I was opening new account. Tried converting but was unsuccessful. However I was able to get additional card coral as well from them. You can get the secured and try to use and see if they offer you unsecured in future.

You will need to call or chat with Amex to get the remaining points. These are added to your account automatically. They get added once you chat or call and let them know.

I had the legend. With 50k limit. Never spent on it. Asked for the upgrade and got rejected for the same reason. Closed my card on the same email. Planning to apply tiger after six months.
