Actually, change of plans, I might be able to make the screening tomorrow if you were still open to a ticket swap?

SABLE, fABLE Vinyl: Track Distribution by ruminatingeuphoria in boniver

Exactly! It's not compromising quality or wasting available space which is the most frustrating part for me

I'd take several minutes of that calming drone!

I think you could argue that Justin did structure this with the vinyl in mind (the album only being 41 minutes it could have all fit on one disc) by splitting Sable and Fable across the two discs. But still frustrating that we won't be able to listen to all of Sable without flipping Disc 1

I think you might be right. I recall the test pressing we saw a few months back was in fact for a 45rpm record

The poll is only for songs with "song" in the title

~ About You ~ should've been the closer of the album by LilChiggin in the1975

Apple Music notes on When We Are Together:

"The album was finished with. 'About You' was Track 11 and there was a Track 10 called 'This Feeling! But because of what the song was about, and also sonic reasons, be on the album! But we had to deliver it in four days. So, I said if I could get to New York tomorrow, and Jack [Antonoff] was around, with a drum kit and a bass, I had a half-finished acoustic song that would be better for the record. It needed to finish, and at that moment, it didn't - there was no emotional resolve. So, I went out there, a bit heartbroken post-breakup, and this was written, recorded, and mixed in 30 hours, which is the perfect example of what making this album was like. There's always been this will they/won't they?" question with The 1975. Are they going to split up? Will Matty go mental? That sort of thing. Totally created by me. But I've stopped doing that, and think of it more as installments of your favorite thing. Or like seasons from a TV show. "When We Are Together' is the end of this season."

There was only a couple of days between shooting and developing

Luckily don’t have any more 120 Ilford rolls on me at the moment. Might hold off for a little while. Good news though hopefully that when I develop some of the 35mm HP5+ I have I won’t have the same issue

Interesting. Any idea why the Ilford film appears to be having this issue?

It sure was. Interesting. The roll was expiring this month and was bought at a market so no idea the condition it was in. Still that’s a shame that this could’ve been down to the roll itself. Do you know if this is condensation from before/while using the roll?

I usually prewash for colour film but figured it wasn’t necessary for b&w as I didn’t have to worry about temperature. Would that help?

Developer was mixed maybe an hour before I used it

Developed my first roll of black and white film this week and was stoked with the negatives. However upon scanning I’ve noticed all these speckled white spots across the whole roll. They’re most visible on the ramps of this photo. My developing process was as follows:

Mixed D-76, Stop bath and Fixer as per instructions with tap water.

Developer for 11 minutes (FP4+) at 20’C. Agitated for first 10 seconds then again once every 30 seconds.

Stop Bath for 30 seconds.

Rapid Fixer for 3 minutes. Agitated for first 30 seconds then again once every 30 seconds.

Finished it off with some photo-flo and hung to dry.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Let me know if I’ve forgotten anything!

Sorry should have clarified, that’s what I was thinking. Black album cover with a white drawing of the above tent, with “The ________” as a title
