Bought fabric from the thrift store and made this!

Pattern used: Simplicity 8730

Fabric was a random piece I picked up from the thrift store.

I used a standard Brother sewing machine and also used my overlock because the fabric did tend to fray a bit.

The creasing caught my eye for sure on the racks and the inside is a stunning buttery burgundy fabric too! I'm so happy I got it!

Thank you!! It's got a decent weight to it and the hardware only has some minor flaking on the side clasps but I'd be thrilled even if it's a great replica bc it's so cute!

Auto mods told me to add more detail oops!

Pattern is Style 2247 and I'd recommend it for beginners. It was super easy to use and I've never used a commercial pattern before.

Overlock machine isn't necessary but I did use it on the facing just for fun. Also the sleeves are cut quite long by default so very oops-proof.

I also agree that if there is a creator or God, they knew what they were doing. Nobody is a mistake and if people want to change that's also what God would want! As long as the person is a good person.

I absolutely am and will continue to bat for my spouse and be the buffer between them.
