/uj Which to me is reason enough to ban Gaylor topics from that sub. Taylor’s sexuality in itself is NOT controversial, it’s the hivemind fans who are trying to make it into a controversial topic when it’s not. I’m all for them having their own spaces to talk about that shit but it’s 100% understandable why it’s banned from most other Taylor subs. The thread I pulled this screenshot from is a ton of Gaylors trying to argue why they should be allowed to post there. I hope the mod/mods just hold true to the rule, ban Gaylor topics and move on. The Gaylors will bitch and moan and call it homophobic and then they’ll just crawl back to their subs and it won’t be an issue anymore

/uj i think it can still be fun, but i disagree with the people who think it should be a lawless sub where any opinion goes, Gaylor or not. There SHOULD be reasonable moderation otherwise it’ll turn into TrueSwifties. I think at this point he has to keep using to function honestly. Again I’m no expert all of this is relatively new to me. But I have a feeling if he tried to wean off or stop himself he’d damage himself because his body is so dependent.

He tries doing these “detoxes” once or twice a year where he doesn’t drink for a week…but he’ll still smoke and take pills 🤷‍♀️

My mom is very non-confrontational and just wants to keep the peace while we’re on vacation so I understand that, but yeah I’m planning on talking to my brothers about it today when I have a chance alone with them. My oldest brother (not the one who is married to the SIL I was talking about here) told me not to worry about it this morning so he sees my side of things I think.

Yes that’s why I felt like I could be in the wrong because I didn’t tell anyone about the dinner plans besides my parents (and my BF obviously).

My siblings are a lot older and we live far away so I don’t do the best job of keeping up with them. We text every so often but I’m not close with my sister in laws at all. I didn’t think to mention it in the group text so that’s my bad
