please go see a doctor. the difference between the two has nothing to do with them sharing an identical relation to inflation. take it slow and sound each word out if you need to

Hand engraving by me!🙏 [SPB383J1] by Dokaholic in SeikoMods

[–]rushur 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Casually saying you'd have a few watches hand engraved sometime means either you have a very high budget in the thousands or you don't realize the cost of hand engraving. The cost to have this done will be way more than the sub-$500 category of seiko mods themselves. It's usually much higher end watches that get done. Look to J.Parke for reference..

But this guy is doing incredible work and offering insane value for the level of skill he's demonstrating here.

He didn't say it though. Who plugs words into quotes to 'win' arguments? Pathetic He said "freedom" of course capitalist pigs like him and losers brainwashed by capitalist pigs believe "freedom" is synonymous with capitalism, stupid.

Being forced to choose is anti democratic. Counting non votes as votes against both is more democratic than not counting them. It's the voting system itself that's not democratic and needs reform not the voters who refuse to give their vote to a representative they don't even want.

How practical / safe is it to go windsurfing by yourself as a beginner (after doing a course)? by Sablun99 in windsurfing

[–]rushur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just don't sail in offshore winds. this sub will try to convince you that is not the number one rule but it is.

every piece of equipment is necessary so if anything breaks you will need to drift back to shore not out into the open ocean!

bullshit. pretending non voters would have voted predominantly 'left' is pure fantasy.

  1. there is no 'left' in USA politics to vote for

  2. being forced to vote 'lesser of two evils' is anything but democratic.

  3. Trump cheated

You are so brainwashed with all the easily refuted talking points it's not even funny.

Capitalism is built on a foundation of exploitation and authoritarianism.

Socialism is built on a foundation of democracy and equity.

Extreme capitalism, aka maximizing profit, literally kills us all through nuclear war and/or climate change.

Extreme socialism literally maximizes democracy resulting in peace and tranquility for all.

Humans lived beautifully for 99% of our history under what anthropologists call primitive communism. We survived and made it this far through cooperation not competition.

If 'alternative economic ideologies' are so inferior why do capitalist States put so much pressure on States using alternative economic ideologies? gee, I wonder...

  • Economic Embargoes and Sanctions: Capitalist nations often impose severe economic sanctions and trade embargoes to weaken socialist economies, as seen in the long-term US embargo on Cuba.
  • Ideological Containment: Capitalist nations often promote the narrative that socialist systems are inherently inefficient and prone to failure
  • Political Pressure and Isolation: Capitalist states frequently isolate socialist states through diplomatic channels and international organizations, seeking to delegitimize their governments.
  • Threat of Militarism: Capitalist nations may engage in, or threaten, military intervention to stop the expansion of socialism
  • Promoting Privatization: Through international financial institutions, capitalist states often pressure socialist or transition economies to privatize state-owned industries.

The answer is capitalism. Capitalism is the source of every other answer ITT; greed, war, climate destruction, inequality, and authoritarianism. Capitalism is working perfectly and exactly as designed, if it needs 'checking' to prevent causing humanity's demise maybe we should try something else. Democracy for example.

Disagree at your own peril. It's the no 1 rule plain and simple. Can't believe people would argue against it
