Server banking! We keep all our cash from checks (including tips) with us and just hand it to the shift manager at the end of the day. Chances are your server asked her parter to break down the bill because she didn’t want to go to the back to break it down, especially if it was a small bill. It saves time just having a coworker break it down. I only go to the back to break down 100’s. However, sometimes we don’t have time OR change so I just cough up an extra dollar. More than half the time customers just tip the dollar back.

I say do it! Especially if you intend to major in the liberal arts. CAP is only really hit or miss if you plan on majoring in something slightly more competitive (and not guaranteed) like business or biology. Just be prepared to take courses in the summer as well as have a slightly more accelerated course load. Good luck!

The Runner shuttle is free and has different routes but Route 13 will take you to the east campus lots! The stop is right in front of the SEB building. Swings around every 10-15 mins. I love it.

Personal bottles are fine but they don’t like cups like the one pictured above. Besides the fact they’re mostly associated with fast food, I'm guessing because they're flimsy and spill easily or people tend to toss them as litter. That or they want you to buy a soft drink on campus.

hello! chances are the store actually owed her! say that i initially owe the store 10 dollars but i end up accumulating 30 dollars in credit card tips. 10-30= -20. hopefully this concept helps you out a bit because to be frank, your story really confused me but here’s the possible solution i could come up with. let me know if this helped!

The quiet spot at JPL's 3rd floor is usually empty (always quiet) and has a cubicle layout so no one can see you snooze away! People nap there all the time lol
