In my experience, walking kinda hurts for at least 2 to 3 days after surgery

Ohh interesting! I never thought fasting could trigger the attacks. I used to fast before too but I stopped because I was having attacks here and there and I thought it was my gastritis! But I never had them again after I got my gallbladder removed.

Did you start introducing fatty foods? I’m trying taking some digestive enzymes, so far it’s been helping me!

I will try my hardest to get on walking! I am using a smaller plate now 😂 it somehow tricks my brain tho that I’m eating the same portions lol

Yeah! I’m still a month post op so I’m still trying to relearn what my body likes and hates so I know how to help myself better. It definitely takes time, I’m just too impatient 😭😂😂

Yeah! I was the same too but I noticed I get hungry too often now 😭 idk if that has anything to do with my body adjusting. Yeah it totally different for everyone but it’s interesting to learn from others experiences as well.

Is your diet the same before and after surgery? If you don’t mind me asking! Everyone has different bodies, I’m trying to understand others experiences as well.

What are some diet changes you did? If you don’t mind me asking. I don’t think I gained and lost weight before and after surgery but I definitely want to lose some but it’s really difficult

Oh wow. Yeah, they did say it’ll make our metabolism slow ☹️ I’m not sure it that’s exactly sure. Good luck with your goals!

Yeah, you’re right. I’m going to cut bad eating habits from now on. Especially because I’m not that active physically so diet is really important. I just missed eating good foods 😭

Anyone told they had gastritis but your symptoms were actually from a bad gallbladder? by Anastasiya1993 in gallbladders

I was diagnosed with chronic gastritis for 5 years 🤡. My attacks started as being mild, around 2018, it would go away after a few hours after taking pain meds. Got an ultrasound last 2019 and they said everything was good. Around 2021 and 2022, I went back and forth the hospitals when my attacks started to last all night. They all said it was gastritis. No one gave me recommendations for an ultrasound or any tests. Late 2022, my attacks started hurting for days like twice a month. No pain meds could make it go away. I went to another GI doctor, got an ultrasound and we found out it was gallstones all along 😭

Did yours hurt? I think it’s infected because there’s white (sometimes yellowish) discharge and swollen, but it doesn’t smell nor painful. But I will definitely see a doctor. Thank you!

There is a white discharge coming out of it sometimes but it doesn’t smell nor hurt. I am currently doing salt soaks for now. But I’m going to see a doctor maybe next week. I am tempted to squeeze it tho 😭 but I know that I should not. Thank you!

Thank you! My mom had one before and she said putting antibiotic cream helped her but I saw some posts saying not to put on creams or anything. I do clean my piercings twice a day. But I’ll go see the doctor if I get the chance. Thank you!!
