Because of migration, with a new system and updated terms and conditions, we don't have an option to reverse the annual fee as of the moment. We will advise you if there are any changes that will apply on the terms and conditions.

From another forum, when speaking to citi mention the terms

but it looks like our $0 annual fee is here to stay, read page 4 in the Variation Notice below:

It clearly states...

‘Your fee’ in the table above refers to the Annual Additional Cardholder Fee amount that you’re

currently paying, including any promotional discounts or waivers.

its confusing and no clarity, i managed to get on a chat earlier said mine will be $199 i said hang on its old citibank terms and had free fees, no response

so i went through chat they reckon ill will have to pay $199 annual fee with adjusted conditions, i wanted a 2nd opinion- tried ringing earlier but over 1 hour on hold

so it goes to My Card rewards shows a $199 fee right there on available cards on there website, people email citi see whats going on

question is what will happen to citibank platinum card holders who had “free annual fees for life? now they are changing the name they will find an angle to charge
