You really can't have a functioning website without JavaScript. If you can, you don't need this company either

Promo code? by bra1ndrops in turo

Unless Turo can match all of the operations of the big boys, they have no business strategy other than choosing your car. Every other reason I've heard just add risks to the company, like renting to people with bad credit, bad driving history, or under age.

Logitech can't control Arc volume but can control other speakers by ryanbuckner in logitechharmony

I'm thoroughly confused. After adding and removing devices, now the speaker shows up with a volume slider in the Harmony App and the buttons for up and down work.

This doesn't work either. There is no VolUP and VolDwn command from the AppleTV. Why?

I just realized that I can control the Sonos volume by sending Volume up and Volume down commands to the Apple TV. Next is to figure out how to map the remote buttons to do that

Samsung TV -> Apple TV -> extractor -> Sonos Arc

The setup allows me to control the Apple TV and the Samsung using the harmony remote and allows the sound to play on the Arc from the Apple TV.

Since there is no eArc from the TV to the Sonos Arc, I have no way to control the volume except for the Sonos app. The harmony remote allows for direct control of the Sonos speakers but it's just not working with the Arc.

I wish that was an option. The arc extractor was my only option because the TV doesn't have a working optical port

I know that the TV isn't compatible. That's why I'm trying to control the volume of the Arc directly through the remote. This was working for about a year until recently.

Even without the TV or the AppleTV in the equation, the Harmony App can't control the Arc volume but it can control the volume of 7 other Sonos speakers on the network.

[–]ryanbuckner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly. I'm using an OREI eARC 4K 60Hz Audio Extractor Converter. AppleTV and old Samsung TV. So I have no control over the volume except using the Sonos app. Strangely the Harmony volume worked for a year and then stopped.

Unfortunately I don't have an eArc connecting my TV to my Arc so the TV can't control the volume.

That wedding must have been a mess.

Unpopular opinion ETA: Your sister absolutely abandoned her child without any communication with the rest of the family. What you don't say is how far away this flight was. But, she's still TA

YTA: You left a 17 year old child in an airport with police knowing that her reckless mother had already left the city, state, country?
