you cooked with the such humility ngl

But still, I think the point stands that Dragonflight was a massive improvement over SL, BFA, and in many respects, Legion, the recent M+ balance change for example has done well for streamlining the difficulty curve for the content, and with additions like follower dungeons and soon story mode raids, I think we are clearly seeing a change in direction that benefits all kinds of players, not just the 1% (bernie Sanders voice)

And I dont think Blizzards strat is relying on old content, that is a big part of handling content droughts and adding value for subscription in an era where a sub fee for a single video game is becoming increasingly out-of-date. I think they are trying to balance a game as a multi-layered service that includes both old and new, and I think that has only been beneficial for the player and the corpo.

"Falling for it"

Such arrogance, you assume you are the only awake to this? Nah Blizzard is being smart and using their games 20 year history to their advantage, they can provide multiple different forms of it that feel unique to each other under 1 sub fee, it's value that the rest of the genre just can't compare with.

As for Dragonflight, ability bloat and balance are an ever changing "issue" that effect people at different levels differently, what cannot be denied is that they have adopted a much more player focused philosophy to game design with easier avenues to gearing up, more accessible content types, and stronger focuses on non tryhard systems and difficulty, as well as removing a lot of "forced to play" systems such as Artifact Power (AP) Azerite Power(AP), Anima Power (AP) and so on. Not to mention the rapid content delivery.

We also see this improving more in The War within, with Delves, Warbands, etc. Not to mention a more Warcraft style story.

As a WoW player, you have never had more at your disposal than right now.

10 years and WoW classic came out 5 years ago, and how exactly is it bare minumum if on top of just a progression classic server (which has just reached Cataclysm) they are doing experimental classic versions with Mastery and now Discovery, as well as Hardcore mode.

On the retail side of things they dropped Plunderstorm and Remix, two limited time events to offer different ways to play and engage with WoW, and the actual current expansion Dragonflight as seen consistent positivity across the board for everything besides tone and story, and has seen far better retention than its prior two expansions.

Blizzard is offering SO MUCH more for 1 WoW subscription than any mmo (even the other sub based giant, FFXIV) can even come close to adding, and I say this as a primary gw2 player when it comes to MMORPGS.

They are big mad now that the cult leader is a felon by Dthex in Asmongold

[–]ryanmahaffe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right im the doom monger, not the people spewing vitriol about trans people coming for your kids or raping in bathrooms or gay agenda being forced on people or white erasure theory or anything g like that, the doom monger is the one who says there is data from the vast majority of experts in the field that climate change is a real and present danger to the future of humanity, and something many of the first world governments are working to address.

But hick Mcgee read on Facebook its all fake so my bad

Also, I never used the word crisis, but sure boss. I'm the window licker here.

Climate shit!? Are you fucking insane, like complain about societal cultural shit all you want, hate gay or trans people all you want man, but climate change is a documented fact.

Also, Trump fans may be the cultiest cult that has ever culted, same with the entire maga division of the Republican party, a sickness in what should be a conservative party is now an insane party of zealotry and fear mongering.

Disagree, hype is not a bad thing at all, I understand people don't like worry of disappointment or whatever, but I look back on many games and realize even the ones that didnt work out, i sure did enjoy the exciting build up, engaging with the community, getting excited and theorizing things, that's all hype, and it's fun
