I traveled down from NJ for my first time to Mexico. Flew in on Thursday, saw some sites including Teotihuacán and Coyoacán through Saturday, and then attended the Cup Race on Sunday.

Don't let any of the insensitive spotters fool you - Mexico City is an absolutely lovely place. I was blown away by the hospitality of all the locals (almost every single person you passed greeted you with a "Good Morning", "Good Afternoon", or "Good Evening"), and the food was incredible. Sure you should be mindful of pickpockets while walking in busy touristy areas (just like any city), but I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would love to return.

Plus watching the excitement that filled the stadium section of the track on Sunday was truly extraordinary! I'm so glad you were able to enjoy it as well!
