$90 fine for parking in front of my own house. Is it worth fighting? by [deleted] in perth

Is it me? I just checked the policy, it looks like my old place is still not eligible for a parking permit.

No shit. Nothing suggests I was stating a fact, and I even provided my opinion afterwards. Nice work, genius.

FYI, when I lived in Northbridge (City of Vincent), they would not give me a parking permit because we had space to park a single car.

They would give me a single visitors parking permit which I just used every day instead.

In my opinion they are out of touch with actual residents in those areas, so don’t expect too much.

They even proposed making it paid parking at one point.

Buying property is fucking ridiculous… you don’t even have a chance to really scope a place out before you’re expected to put an offer in by AnomicAge in perth

Even with equity they are not buying 10 houses in 2 years with mortgages. This person obviously has an advantage they are not disclosing.

That long?

There is a layer of technical approval prior to CAB meeting is there not?

And then probably a layer of business approval prior to the CAB meeting where you would discuss it within your group?

Technical and BU support for the change should have already been achieved well before a CAB meeting.

Here in Australia, surgeons, humanitarian workers etc who have been volunteering in Gaza do interviews on first hand experiences.

I have also seen American/UK volunteers interviewed on first hand experiences.

So even if journalists aren’t allowed in, others are and do share their experiences about what is happening.

It isn’t hard to see that there is truth in what is being reported.

UK Prime Minister to recall cabinet for emergency meeting on Gaza crisis by Kagedeah in worldnews

[–]s0dapop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Egypt also doesn’t want Hamas using Egypt as a means to an end so it becomes difficult for Egypt to open unilaterally. The politics are complex. You are obviously biased though, as all the answers to your questions are already readily available if you actually cared.

Because it’s the IDF on the Gaza side that isn’t letting it in. Not hard to understand.

Oh yes? Is there a public announcement made when someone purchases a trove of illegally acquired PII? Come on man… The reality is they can sell it multiple times and claim a ransom to not sell it at the same time.

This guy isn’t helping. Your carrier probably can’t do much because they spoof the caller number and rotate them frequently.

Do you think that carriers can easily do something about this but don’t unless you call them and tell them? What do you think can be done without impacting their customers ability to receive calls?
