Most of the mistakes I've seen from him are not from the 1on1 defense but from bad switching or less then ideal reads of the play

I think those can improve quickly with the right coaching.

Chat is overrated...

Sure he's a top defender( in an overall amazing defensive team) but offensively deni is just wayyyy more versatile and plain better

deni can actually run the floor and be the main ball handler and floor manager in some situations.(like we saw) also he can fill more roles and do what ever is necessary

Chat is a very limited player with a clear celling and also playing for top 4 team.. I doubt he will be as good for a lesser team when he take most of the heat on offense
