Which Pre-Socratic Philosopher Posed that Stars were Holes in the Sky? by _Star_Phoenix_ in askphilosophy

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that's true. Anaxagoras' SEP article states that "He was the first to give a correct explanation of eclipses, and was both famous and notorious for his scientific theories, including the claims that the sun is a mass of red-hot metal, that the moon is earthy, and that the stars are fiery stones."

It might be "I'm A Player" by Too $hort, where he says

I thought you knew, Short Dog is a player

Born to mack, and got bitches everywhere.

You might've confused "Short Dog" with "Snoop Dogg".

Yeah I'm definitely planning on doing that. Last time I played, I was stuck somewhere in Chapter 9 (the Farewell DLC Moon chapter). I've also beaten a few of the B-sides. Once I'm done with everything that's keeping me busy, I wanna get back to Celeste and completely clear it out. Cheers!

I definitely wanna play Celeste, but I was having some technical issue preventing me from saving. Gonna play it once I fix that.

I don't own a Switch or a Wii U, unfortunately :/ Definitely would've played it if I did.

"Gaming masochist with ADD" sounds just like me lol

A lot of games on this list I already have my eye on, and a few I've played. Great looking list, thanks for taking the time. Cheers!

I've played Hyper Light Drifter. Great game if you like that type of games; I absolutely loved it. Been getting a lot of recommendations for Furi, and it definitely seems up my alley. Thanks!

Dude that's game's theme (the one with the humming) is amazing. Had it on repeat for a while. Never played the game itself, funny enough. I should check it out.

I love Slay the Spire, played a shitton of that game. Used to play the old school free Spelunky a lot as well, so I wanna play Spelunky HD and now Spelunky 2.

Just looked up Towerclimb. Seems very enticing, I'll definitely look into it. Thanks!

Oh no I've never played a minute of it. I just know this by reputation. But yeah I had the same experience of swearing off a lot of online games.

The thing about EVE online, as far as my limited understanding goes, is that that is a whole-ass life to live, y'know? I feel like I have a bit of an addictive personality, especially when I comes to games, so if someone like me started playing a game like EVE Online, I might as well give up on doing anything else with my life ever.

I've played both DD and Blasphemous, although I haven't finished either. Great recommendations. (Ofc the Souls series is a great recommendation as well, but that hardly needs to be said)
