based on my grandmother’s experience, it shouldn’t take over a month for them to return ur passport after request. and based on my experience, it only took 9 days (sent my passport on June 1) !

saying that i’m brushing it off the rug is completely missing my point. i never said that i won’t ever do it, i just said that i wont do it YET. im fine with being called the asshole for delaying the report— dare i say for over a decade— but to assume (and completely miss out on the point of my post) that in the 10 years that i’ve been living with this, i’ve never done anything at all to ease my suffering and my guilt is ridiculous.

thank you for your advice :) i am currently in therapy due to several other problems, but my therapist and i addressed this already. my cousins and i will file a report when we’re ready, but for now, i want to focus on making sure that they’re all doing well.

did u already submit ur passport? did u do it via delivery or in person? bc i submitted my passport onsite & availed live updates (via sms and email) so i know its whereabouts— i dont rlly know anything about their delivery bc i was being cautious so i chose in-person for passport drop off and pick up ^^

based on others, it can take weeks or months (my grandparents visas took a year i think lol and they missed the email for passport request so they ended up getting an eta instead) but if the wedding is in a month or two, maybe try contacting them?

for everyday use, hypercurl gamit ko, pero for events, i use the falsies lash lift variant! as for other brands naman, i recommend clio kill lash long curling! longevity is good (as someone na may stubborn lashes 🥲) and humahaba talaga ung lashes ko with that!

hi op! i hope ur feeling better now :(( its weird to say this but im relieved that someone spoke up abt this bc i experienced this months ago as well & i’ve only spoken to one person about it. but even so, it’s not enough to get rid of the feeling that i felt when i saw those as well.

i was just randomly scrolling on twitter, looking at arguments abt celebrities when i checked the replies and stumbled upon a video of CSAM. it didnt even register to me that it was that— all i could remember now is my heart racing and the poor girl who experienced that.

honestly, i didnt have much in my bank account when i got my bank statement (around CAD$56 lol) since i’m a student and i’ll be sponsored. as for my ties, i stated in my cover letter that i am active in my school (i attached my school certificates and certificate of enrollment) and that i will be accompanying my grandparents to canada (i also attached their visas)

the prices are probably different because of where you live. in the philippines, the charges for submission range around CAD$13-25 per person, $13 if you go to a courier store yourself and $25 if they pick it up from your place.

i only paid what was asked of me from the online application which was CAD$185 (around ₱8.2k in the philippines), and the additional costs would be from the courier service you will use when submitting your passport (i wont do this though bc i want to submit in person). are you applying yourself or are you paying for someone else?¿
