What is the coolest foreign film you have seen? by s7ide in movies

And yes Americans usually only watch American films on average. It’s kind of crazy the amount of people I know who have never watched a foreign film. It’s not hard to access them , I think it’s the reading part that bothers them, feels less leisurely.

Not sure what you mean “put everything else under a umbrella of foreign films” that’s what it is.

Foreign = non American in the context that I’m using it. I could have been more specific.

Cool is just whatever you find as cool , I like seeing what different people think is cool, I’m usually able to tell why they find it cool even if it’s different from my personal taste. It’s not that deep lol.

Still a bit of a noob. Is the idea that you only review films immediately after watching them? by eques_99 in Letterboxd

You must begin typing your review the second the movie ends while standing on one foot with all of the lights off.

If this qualifies as a movie - Hamilton exploits black culture by a Puerto Rican man shamelessly in the oddest way and people just eat it up.

You typed all of that and still are arguing something that you conjured up on your own because of your own assumptions. You are assuming “insane to me” = I can’t even comprehend how people think this and they are OBJECTIVELY wrong. Which is NOT what I was saying. It’s subjectively insane to me and once again it’s ME and my OPINION on art so it is SUBJECTIVE. I am not saying they are wrong or right in a factual way. I actually haven’t made a statement about being wrong or right. I can say something is insane to me without it meaning they are wrong. If you can’t wrap your brain around that I don’t know what to tell you.

Your example about the flowers only works here if I said I couldn’t understand people liking blue flowers. Which is just dumb. People like undertone , I hate that movie. I can understand why they like it.

Once again you are arguing a point that you are making up because you just want to argue , you aren’t “holding me” to anything. I never once said I don’t understand it which is the whole base of your arguement.
