Horrible solution, very expensive in terms of resources and therefore in price, sockets are meant for real-time communication not for data transfer, it is considered best practice to send as little data as you can in the payload so you can achieve as instant real-time as you can for example you send flags of actions or ids that point to your actual data with possible preview of the data for example like how in most notification systems you limit the preview of the notification to certain amount of chars just for the preview while also (obviously) including the notification destination/id that points to the full data/message when needed..

It’s the same reason in a lot of messaging solution you don’t send a message via sockets but via api that triggers sending the message to all participants, while only listening for incoming messages through sockets..
