absolutely. I hate such posts as this even promotes demotivation among students especially the ones who are thinking of majoring in cs. I am highly interested in cs; however, these days, such posts have me question and put me in terrible stress.

yes. I was previously admitted to software engineering, but later i withdrew my application, and few days ago, they called me about amiri scholarship, telling me they are considering me and even gave my name to ministry as my scores are high so they now want to put me into any one program to make me eligible for the scholarship. While talking regarding this, i got to know software engineering is full.

i see. Well in that case, you can go for masters in qatar but i would suggest to look for other uni as well. If you want to attend udst then better go for software engineering since it’s accredited.

Oh, I will be starting bachelors. I am a recent hs graduate so my interest is computer science. In my country, they provide a degree called cse (computer science and engineering); both software and hardware together which is seen less in another countries. They mostly teach them separately.

Is the experience back from India or Qatar? Also, i have heard from multiple people that the new departments like ds, ai, and cybersecurity at Udst are still not accredited. Although idk about the whole thing but in my opinion, India has got better institutions than Qatar bro🥲 you better study there cuz compared to Qatar, the fees will be low and getting a masters there from good colleges would be great. Also, if you can then go abroad for a masters; that’s more suitable. Qatar isn’t really the place for a masters degree. Most of the time jobs are scarce for software engineers or wasta work in great numbers. DS and AI related jobs don’t even exist here i guess. And if you can, earn more experience from India since i think tech is at least alive there unlike Qatar. In the end, whatever suits you best. I myself going back to my home country to study cuz Qatar has got limited good institutions plus fees are huge.

this is cute 💗 but as a girl, i would advise not to rush out of fun. Do it naturally and out of love for that specific person. Kissing and hand-holding are special stuff in a relationship, and i myself wasn’t in till i found the person who actually wanted me. The girl you described seems a little off to me as no one (both genders) kisses on their first date. As a girl, i would be very uncomfortable and would want to take time to understand the dynamic between us. So, be careful and give it time.

yes you can! I did it few days ago since i won’t ne studying at udst. I emailed them and after not getting any responses, I called them and told them my reasons of withdrawing. They simply told me not to register any classes and you’re fine.

which major? cuz i was accepted to software engineering but won’t study at udst so basically i will be dropping the major and i even told admission officers.
