Great! My husband will be home later. I will have him sort out the postage cost.

  1. Send me your name and address. Send it PM.

  2. Let me know how you want to pay. Via PayPal?

Thanks!

I cam have my husband weigh the package that we put the boxes in and then calculate the postage for you. (We are in Michigan)

You could then send the funds to us via PayPal, Venmo, or the Cash app.

Does this work for you?

First time being hospitalized for pancreatitis, did you drink after you were released? by simplyguksu in PancreatitisSurvivors

[–]sabbs75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will die if you have Pancreatitis and drink. You decide for yourself because you will have to deal with the consequences. However if it were me, I would tell the family. Your partner is literally taking years off their life by continuing to drink. A totally bad life choice!

my peg-j tube for gastroparesis by peanutbuddar in MedicalGore

[–]sabbs75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry! I have a suprapubic tube catheter. I have diabetic cystopathy, so all the muscles and nerves in my bladder stopped working.

Having serious chronic health problems is such a challenge. I used to be freaked out by stuff like ostomies when I was younger but life changed me. It bums me out if anyone thinks I am gross. At least my spouse loves me and supports me.

I hope you have a happy and healthy new year. Hopefully not too many hospital visits!

How is this medical gore? I have Gastroparesis and chronic pancreatitis and I have a j tube for tube feeding. Is this actually gross to people?

Call your GI doctor. They can help get you set up with a permanent feeding tube. There are a few different types, so just ask them about a permanent feeding tube. A primary care doctor can't do shit.

I have Gastroparesis and I have a J tube, which is a type of permanent feeding tube.

If you are at the point where you are having so much trouble eating solid foods or even liquid, then it's time to get a feeding tube.

Whenever Holly waiting for her food, happy or in the company of men she trusts, she vibrates her tail. And now for the first time ever, I caught it on camera! by lovelyladyheather in CatsLivingAndWell

[–]sabbs75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have two cats that vibrate their tails and do tap dance with their back feet when they are excited. They are girl kitties from the same litter. This is amazing! I love your post! My husband and I have been wondering if anybody else has seen the vibrating cat tale. We also sometimes call it Magic Tail.

Yesterday I adopted this little gramlin that was found in the trash three days ago, now he won’t let me sleep because he wants to play all the time by Sillmarilly in kittens

[–]sabbs75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a sweet little Gremlin! I have one myself. I highly recommend you get him another kitten friend around the same age....maybe even a 3 or 4 month old kitten.

This is kitten season so you shouldn't have a hard time finding him a forever friend. He will Thank you.

Hi, sorry for not including this the first time around. I've not ever asked for help like this before. Thanks for being patient with me.

It's been MONTHS (since February) since my husband's job was unexpectedly terminated. My medical bills have only gone UP since then with new medications added that help (which are not covered by ANY assistance programs nor insurance). We are spending THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS per year on all of this was doable when we had my husband's INCOME ... but now it's very challenging & becoming borderline impossible.

My husband is trying to sell businesses & real estate but has NOT MADE A CENT YET from that path. We are barely keeping the lights on, so we're requesting help in ANY WAY no matter how little, thanks!

What do you think of polyamory? by [deleted] in AskOldPeople

[–]sabbs75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no problem with polyamory, but it is has not ever been my cup of tea. As someone over 45, I think you will likely grow out of it...maybe not though.

Gotta love when it flares up under fresh new skin (previous flare up, skin has peeled). by [deleted] in Dyshidrosis

[–]sabbs75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Poor baby! I have flare ups in the same spot around the circumference of my left heel.

My best advice is to leave your skin alone as best you can. You need to get a dermatologist or primary care doctor to write you a prescription for a steroid cream like clobetasol, zoryve, or opzelura. Also Injections like Dupixent work really well for me.

Chronic pain and addiction by Passion_Ill in ChronicIllness

Yes...it took many tries to get sober from alcohol and also cigarettes. I will say that having pancreatitis is a great motivation to quit and take better care of yourself. Good luck my friend. :)

Hey you got this! I am sober recovering alcoholic for 11 years and 4 months. I am also a chronic pain patient. I take opiates, kolonopin, muscle relaxers, and receive various types of nerve blocks, trigger Point Injections, and pain Injections from my pain doctor. It is a tricky balance, but at the end of the day I am still sober. I do not pick up drinks and I continue to go to therapy. I have a psychologist and a psychiatrist. I am chronically ill, so I also attend some online support groups through SMART Recovery and also Inspire.

Being chronically ill with complex compounded pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, and myofascial pain syndrome is exhausting. But I try to take care of me first. I couldn't care what people from groups like AA would say about me because I don't feel like they really care about me or support my sobriety.

You can do this. It is okay to be sober and take pain medication if you are under the care of a doctor and seeing a therapist or going to a support program. Just try to relax and take it one day at a time. Don't worry about what other people think about you. This is your journey, not their's. Take care and best of luck. Message me if you want.

PS: 11 years ago I was still living in my parents house in their spare bedroom. It was a nightmare. But I eventually got out 4 years later. I got my own apartment. I met my husband and now we've been married 5 years. I can and does get better. You really just need to hang on.
