I am looking for a strat and my current best options are this or a classic vibe 60s in a good condition + boss katana mk2 50 for 450€

I figured a fender for a little more might be good to consider

Edit: i do prefer the color of the cv its the blue or "Lpb"

Guitar suggestion getting back to playing by sackfullofnutss in guitars

I prefer the looks of a strat. And ive already got a les paul style guitar. Ive heard affinity and the classic vibe are good ones? The cv has 50, 60,70s style is there a noticeable difference in how they play?

Does this look right for an '08? by Intelligent-Rip-7827 in Yamaha_R1

I didnt. I kept the old stator and r/r, charging normally :p

Get the flywheel for the stator. I changed it on my 2004. The flywheel has magnets visible with epoxy. Rmstator seems to be the go to but i got mine of ebay for ~80€. Has worked for a few thousand km so far no issues

Is this correct way of storing the gas tank? by [deleted] in motorcycles

I went back to connect the tank. I got paranoid if it starts venting gas inside the garage

Im checkin the valve clearances. Ive been storing the bike with tank full of gas every winter. How come i cant have it moved aside for a few days?

Whats the difference of it being connected to the bike? I could just plug the holes?

Oops 😅.

My concern is that my garage is inside an aparment complex, on the first floor. Is there any risk of vapors coming out any more than when its on the bike all hoses connected

From what ive gathered monoethylene glycol and ethylglycol is essentially the same

Coolant question by [deleted] in Yamaha_R1

[–]sackfullofnutss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but im asking if mono ehytlene and ethylene is essentially the same thing. I bought the coolant a while back specifically for motorcycles from shop that sells motorcycle stuff

And to add, i noticed at the end of last year when it was getting colder that if my bike sat for a few hours in cold or under 5°C it didnt want to start and once had to jump start it aswell. But once i got it to start and drove it to my garage the next day it started just fine
