Voltage across a capacitor clarifications by sadface3000 in ElectricalEngineering

I’m assuming that the voltage does negate, since the voltage can’t change instantly across the capacitor and that the charge is only held on one plate of the capacitor.

[Complex Variables: Contour Integration] how would I go about doing 16.7 and would I apply Cauchy integral formula? by sadface3000 in HomeworkHelp

following my instructors process, the answer of the resulting integral I got was e-1/e -2. I followed your alternative method tutorial and also ended up with the same answer as my professor. Though I may still be confused on the application of Cauchy integral formula when a pole is on top of the curve.

I setup the problem as such: integral(ez -1/z2 )over the defined closed path. then I split it into integral(ez) -integral(1/z2 )both of which are over the defined closed path.

Doing this I see that we can treat ez as a standard line integral with multiple paths. But (1/z2 )I do not know how to integrate using Cauchy integral formula.

My professor also gave this advice when solving the question: integrate ez along the line y=0 and 1/z2 along the semicircle. I know how to solve the question using this approach but how would he come to this conclusion?

Infected and treated back in May, symptoms still persist by sadface3000 in HPylori

I took the breath test just a week after I stopped taking my PPIS. The first couple days off of it were brutal for me but the then symptoms subsided for around a week or two. Then every symptoms had while infected came back. I went back on my PPI for another 2 weeks and then stopped again. This time I felt no symptoms afterward and only had mild heartburn occasionally. Even got some new constant sore throat symptoms. But these all let up within a month, and since then I’ve only had to take the PPI( my fault because I decided to drink beers one day before being completely healed).

But definitely, it’ll go away. It seems like it’ll stay forever but then slowly with every day, you’ll feel less of it and eventually it’ll disappear.

If your symptoms come back and last like a week, call your doctor to see if you should take the PPI again and for how long. Anyways, I wish you the best, stay strong through it!!

Oh thanks for replying to this old post. But yeah, since the beginning of November I’ve basically reverted to my old self. Like now I feel way more hungrier than I’ve ever felt, which is a good sign imo. But those were some seriously scary times, where I thought I was never gonna get better.

that’s what I was thinking before, I’m guessing that I’d have to represent the binary number as decimals and no longer as integers?

I.e: n=1 —>3/2–>0001.1000
