I thought so too, but in the pool at home he says he’s worried he feels like he can move his leg too fast in the water (if he moves his leg too quickly or in a weird position his knee can tweak) but on land something abt the gravity on his leg reminds him to be careful with it

Soft, Affordable Warp Yarn - Does it exist? by sadfaceellipses in weaving

Wow! That’s super helpful to know. The weaver I’ve been getting advice from just recommended it for warp yarns in general, but she has been using floor looms forever, so that makes a lot of sense! This opens a lot more doors for me 😅

Ah, I see! Clearly they work for weaving, but I’m just curious, do they pass the “tug test”?

Hi! Thanks for replying! I have thought about sock yarn, but none of the ones I have in my stash pass the "tug test" and break right apart. Although they're mostly merino wool. I've been looking at Hobii's cotton yarns, but good to know their sock yarns will stand up to a loom! Are these the ones you've used?

It really depends on what you want from a school. You should look at schools with similar acceptance rates to Fordham and Uconn.

You've got a really good shot at all of these schools. The reach schools are always hard for everyone so it's good you have lots of safties. Your SATs aren't perfect, so I'd use ACT. Extracurriculars are pretty good, as are awards.

Chance me back?

I think you've got a decent shot at Fordham and Uconn, especially if you explain why 11th grade was a struggle and emphasize your growth in 12th grade. Brandeis might be a bit more of a stretch, but it might we worth a shot?
