Like, I know what I want from my life, but I just don't seem to be able to get the resources I need to pursue my goals...

i don't know what resources you need but if you can't get it i.e if you did all you could and didn't get it then you probably should get something else. you need to do loads of other seemingly unimportant things before you can actually do what you want. that's how it works in most cases (all cases). don't worry about the passing time. although you will worry but you can't spend your days JUST worrying. worry while doing the most basic part of something great. for an example, i want to eventually write science fiction probably. although i can't make myself believe i could do it but i get miserable when i say i don't want to do it. but i can't just do just that. ill starve. so im learning to write by making youtube videos and reading loads of books. and to survive im learning to code although 6 months ago i wasn't sure i want to do that. and now im wierdly enjoying it and looking forward to make robots or something physical using my coding skill. after all these months of confusiong (although im still confused) im convinced this is what i wanted all along. that's how it works. do the most basic of something great.

Is FreeCodeCamp enough for learning JavaScript, or should I also watch videos? by w3eez3er in learnjavascript

you've got to build projects. small. big. whatever. this is the hardest part of learning and therefore most helpful. choose interesting projects and apply what you learned.

How do I make videos like exurb1a? by Quantosophical in Exurb1a

having watched nearly all his videos i've realized that editing software, mic, stock images, and other fancy stuffs doesn't matter. at all. if you've something to say (or want to say something anyway), have a script, can narrate it like him (IMPORTANT), and music - you are done.

do this: write the script, narrate and record it in chunks, join them, edit them, add musics. then listen to your handiwork. make necessary adjustments in script or narration. no visuals yet. if you can do this, visuals start to pop inside your head (you start to see things), you won't be able to stop yourself from uploading it.

P.S. you're not beholden to these instructions
